Mrs. Elliott’s sixth-grade class has been studying Ancient Egypt. They learned about the process of mummification and the fixation the Egyptians had with the afterlife. Students learned that most Egyptians spent their entire life preparing for their death. In conjunction with their studies, students created their own book of the dead, mummy, ornately designed sarcophagus and they learned to “Walk like an Egyptian.”
Two students in each class were selected for their superior work and effort! Congratulations and Go Falcons!
Foothills PTA Halloween Safety Fair..."Trunk of Treasure." Everyone enjoyed a fun night of games, activities, popcorn, and safety booths.
Students at Foothills Elementary enjoyed of week of color. Each day students dressed in a different color to promote safety.
3rd Grade students decorated their pumpkins to resemble a favorite character from one their books. Can you guess who they look like?
Harward Farms donated over 800 pumpkins to the students at Foothills Elementary. Students enjoyed measuring, weighing, comparing, and writing about their pumpkins. Thanks Harward Farms for your generosity!

4th Grade students have been working hard to learn some western dances. They enjoyed performing the dances for their parents. Even the parents were able to dance with their child.
