The Parent Teacher Organization works because of the wonderful volunteers that donate their time and money. We are always looking for more help.

The following are the activities that the PTO sponsors for 2022-2023:

Once a month Brunch/Snack for Teachers
We provide a small snack/treat/brunch item once a month to show our appreciation for all of the work the teachers and staff do for our kids. Parents donate the food items and help set it up in the teachers lounge as well.

Dinners for Teachers during SEP's (Parent/Teacher/Student Conferences)
The teachers get a quick half an hour break (in a very long day) to eat some dinner. The PTO provides this dinner, many of which come from parents volunteering to bring side dishes and desserts!

Expressions (replacement for Reflections)
This is an artistic competition that the students can enter. It will take place near the end of March. This program was created to give the students a chance to show off their creative genius.

Military Appreciation Week
The PTO honors our military and has special activities throughout this week to teach our children about the armed forces. The PTO helps with a flag ceremony as well as provides lunch for the veterans that come to eat lunch in the cafeteria. Any veterans that are related to kids that go to our school are invited (and their spouse), but we don't want to make them eat school lunch! If you have a veteran that would like to come, please let the PTO know the week before.

Healthy Habits Week
The PTO teaches the kids about the importance of staying healthy by not doing drugs, having knowledge of internet safety and other ways to live a happy, healthy life.

Teacher Appreciation Week
The PTO shows our gratitude this week by providing snacks and a meal or two. We have parents volunteer to donate food, set up and clean up, and help with other activities throughout the week.
