100th Day of School
We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school.
We had so much fun celebrating the 100th day of school.
We held our Falcons SOAR Assembly where we recognized teachers, students, and classes that are doing great things at our school for the month of January
Our Top Claw Award (Employee of the Month) went to Mrs. Minson, Mrs. Chatterton, Mrs. Millet, and Mrs. Johnson.
Our Top Flyer Award was awarded to the classes that were the best in PE Class for the month of January. Congratulations to Mrs. Jacobnsen's Class, Mrs. Barber's PM Class and Mr. Thurgood's Class.
And a big congratulations to our Falcons of the Month who were spotlighted for being kind!
What a rockin' assembly Foothills students got to enjoy on Tuesday morning. Mr. Gentry Youd, former 6th grade teacher and author of King of the Court, inspired students with his book that he wrote about making new friends, and treating others with kindness. He shared his I AM slogan, which stands for Integrity, Ambition, and Morals, and explained how these three words can uplift and inspire everyone in a positive way. After, the school was treated to a mini rock concert by Poolhouse, an awesome band that performs at school and sings songs about kindness and respect.
Foothills students are excited to celebrate Kindness Week. Each day the have been given a mission to perform an act of service around the school. So many students have really taken the acts of service above and beyond to show how much they care by picking up trash, making new friends, or saying hi and smiling to someone in need. Great job Foothills Falcons! Keep being positive and showing kindness to others.
