Mrs. Cope's class had fun making snowmen!  Then they got to interview their snowman and write about what they learned.

Mrs. Youngs' class worked on area and perimeter using different kinds of square blocks. They used extra blocks to show the perimeter. They learned that the word perimeter has the word "rim" in it. Rim is the edge of something, so perimeter is the edge of the shape. 

Mrs Gammell’s class enjoyed working with Mrs Fillmore learning different things about dance. We enjoyed having her visit our class. 

Last week, students had a blast as they participated in the Hoop Hop Challenge to promote healthy habits. They ended the week by competing for the grade-level championship. Thank you to Swan Orthodontics for donating prizes for the winners.
