Winter Wonderland Festival on December 5th

We are excited for our Winter Wonderland School Fundraiser on December 5th from 5:30-8:00. This will be a great family night holiday event with fun games, pictures with Santa, yummy food, and a silent auction! Presale tickets are available now by clicking here. Foothills Students are Artists

This is the year of learning about artists in grades 1st  thru 4th.So far this year we have learned about Frida Kahlo, Tim Burton, Pablo Picasso, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee, Takashi Murakami, Sari Shryack, and Yayoi Kusama. 

The 5th Graders learned about Easter Island and made a 3D art of the statues. They are also working on bigger projects. Soon we will share our snowman at night!

OCTOBER FALCONS SOAR ASSEMBLY

We held our Falcons SOAR Assembly the end of October to celebrate all the great students and teachers we have in our school.

Our Top Claw Award recognizes our staff members that are going above and beyond to make a difference in our school. Congratulations to Mrs. Minson, our secretary, Mrs. Christean, an Intervention Technician, Mrs. Marzan, a second grade teacher, and Mrs. McGinnis, a 5th grade teacher, for winning the Top Claw Award this month.

Rollercoaster Science

Miss Carlile’s class explored how height energy and energy transfer make roller coasters go fast. We found this out by doing an experiment with paper roller coasters and releasing marbles down the track.

Mrs. Jacobsen Receives Crystal Apple Award

The 2022-2023 Crystal Apple Award was presented to a very well deserving teacher, Mrs. Tiffaney Jacobsen. Mrs. Jacobsen is a valuable first grade teacher who truly cares about her students and works hard to ensure they are all successful and love school. Mrs. Jacobsen is also a leader in our school as she heads up our Red Ribbon Week Activities and helps anywhere else it is needed!  Congratulations Mrs. Jacobsen and thank you for all you do!!
