We celebrated our September Falcons of the Month today. Our character trait focus for the month was Respect and these outstanding students are the standouts for our school in modeling how to show respect in everything they do and to everyone they meet!
Fifth grade was able to have some hands on science activities thanks to Discovery Gateway! Students were able to do experiments showing physical and chemical changes.
2nd graders were thrilled to have visitors from the Loveland Living Planet Aquarium...scaley, reptilian visitors! Students were introduced to two different pythons, and a blue-tongued skink as they learned about their Rainforest habitat and the types of adaptations each reptile has to help them survive. 2nd graders left excited to share the things they had learned with their friends and family.
It was a great day that capped off a great week at Foothills! Today was Spirit Friday and we love all our students and teachers that show Falcon Spirit by wearing their school shirts and colors on Friday. Our Spirit Trophy goes to the class in each grade level that has the most students wearing spirit wear. Has your class won yet?
