Four Foothills Elementary Teachers are retiring after decades of teaching: Mrs. Johna Lew (Kindergarten), Mrs. Nancy Swenson (2nd Grade), Mrs. Tonie Thorpe (5th Grade), and Mrs. Maureen Bushman (6th Grade). They said goodbye to faculty, students, parents, and friends during an open house last week. They are amazing teachers and a great asset to our school. They will be greatly missed. Wishing them the very best in retirement!

5th grade students participated in the “Walk for Life” program. Over 1,200 students from 13 elementary schools were invited to join. Students rotated to eight different booths where Veterans and members of the military shared stories and information about their experiences. The students were asked to come with a name of a Veteran and “walk” for them. The names were written on a dog tag and placed on a "Wall of Honor." Thanks to our Veterans for your service and dedication.
