5th Grade Wax Museum
Students researched historic Americans, read biographies, took notes, wrote and memorized scripts, and created posters for the wax museum. Students were well prepared this year and did a fantastic job!

Six students from our ballroom dance class were chosen to participate in the Past Meets Present Ballroom Gala. Great job students!
Adam Walters won a bike for participating in the Play Unplugged Program. Congratulations Adam!!
4th grade students learned several western dances that they performed for their parents. They also taught their parents how to dance. Everyone had a great time!
Kindergarten students at Foothills Elementary participated in the wedding for Q and U. They learned that the letter "Q" is always followed by the letter "U"....Congratulations Q&U!!
Students enjoyed eating lunch with some of our local veterans.
Foothills Choir sang for our veterans during the Veterans Day Assembly.
Foothills Elementary enjoyed participating in Military Appreciation Week. Students learned about each branch of the military and wrote letters to veterans and soldiers currently serving. Students also discussed the Constitution of the United States to have a better understanding of our rights and freedoms. Classes and individual students also created posters that promoted patriotism to hang in the halls.
Several students were chosen to make Thanksgiving Turkeys with Principal Keri Huntsman. There were many creative turkeys. Good job Falcons!
Amy Russell received a grant from the Nebo Education Foundation for $800. She will be purchasing Chromebooks for her 6th grade classroom. Congratulations!
