The "Coins For Kinshasa" books and school supplies provided from our school's service fundraiser have finally been delivered to the children in the Congo!  Over 350 books in English and French, as well as notebooks, crayons, and pencils arrived this week after traveling over 8000 miles.  The travel and customs was very difficult as Kinshasa is currently experiencing a civil war.

We need to thank Westland Construction and Stan Houghton (who lives in the Foothill boundaries, and has grandchildren who attend our school) for arranging the shipment and delivery of the school supplies. Once the items arrived in Kinshasa, they asked the local elder missionaries to deliver the supplies to the schools and orphanage.
