Mrs. Davis’ class got into the Halloween spirit by learning to play some Halloween bingo. Everyone spent the time sharing what they are going to dress up as on Halloween.

Mrs. Eddington’s class read Pete the Cat and his 4 Groovy Buttons. They got a fun introduction to subtraction. They got to draw Pete and his missing buttons and add a number sentence to it.

Mrs. Roberts's class enjoys doing readers' theaters to work on fluency. They performed for their families October 21st.

Mrs. Averett’s class had a great time on the second grade field trip to Scera Theater.

First grade celebrated apple day by making homemade apple sauce in class! Students got to help prepare the apples, then learned how apples grow, and tried several varieties to see which they like best. We love the fall!

Rainy days don’t slow us down in first grade! These cute students in Mrs. Clegg’s class love a good puzzle during indoor recess.

Mrs. Youngs' class received new stem toys from our Donors Choose project. We get a challenge twice a week to complete. Make an animal, maze, seesaw, tower, bridge, pattern, etc. They enjoy playing with the toys without realizing they are learning more about the STEM process.
