As a school, we have been focusing on Being Happy. For Red Ribbon Week, the theme was to “Stay on Target and Be Happy.” Students and faculty participated in many activities to learn about safety, drug prevention, and character development. Ballroom Dance Group Performs for Nebo School Board of Education

Angie Lowe is the ballroom coach at Foothills Elementary. Her objective is to teach far beyond the steps and music. The goal of the program at Foothills is to provide social dance instruction for children in a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere. This type of instruction builds self-esteem and confidence. Through partnered ballroom dance movement, children learn mutual respect and social skills useful throughout their lives.
