A shout-out to our sixth-grade students on a job well done!
Students enjoyed watcing the Just Jumpin' Rope Team while they performed different routines. The team encouraged students to "be active." Several students, faculty members, and even our own Mrs. Huntsman performed their jump rope routine for the school!
Mrs. Elliott’s sixth-grade class has been studying Ancient Egypt. They learned about the process of mummification and the fixation the Egyptians had with the afterlife. Students learned that most Egyptians spent their entire life preparing for their death. In conjunction with their studies, students created their own book of the dead, mummy, ornately designed sarcophagus and they learned to “Walk like an Egyptian.”
Two students in each class were selected for their superior work and effort! Congratulations and Go Falcons!
Foothills PTA Halloween Safety Fair..."Trunk of Treasure." Everyone enjoyed a fun night of games, activities, popcorn, and safety booths.
Students at Foothills Elementary enjoyed of week of color. Each day students dressed in a different color to promote safety.
