This week in art class students who finish their art assignment early are participating in our own week of service. Students are writing letting to residents of nursing homes. Sending greetings of Happy Fall Y'all with pictures and happy messages. Some have used paint sticks, smelly markers, and other art supplies to make memorable cards.
Last week 3rd-5th grades learned about being able to do hard things with a can-do attitude and an open mind. Having this growth mindset can be applied to art, sports, school, or really anything! We learned to draw cartoon people. Ask your student to teach you how!
