This week in art class students who finish their art assignment early are participating in our own week of service. Students are writing letting to residents of nursing homes. Sending greetings of Happy Fall Y'all with pictures and happy messages. Some have used paint sticks, smelly markers, and other art supplies to make memorable cards.
We are excited to celebrate our winners of our first Falcon Club drawing of the school year. When students earn a Brag Note for following our SOAR Rules they get their name on the Falcon Club Board. When all 100 squares are full we hold a drawing. This round the winners received a popsicle party! Congratulations to our awesome Falcons for making great choices at school!

Rain or shine we are excited to welcome our students back to an awesome school year! It was a red carpet day for the First Day of School. We were lucky to have Miss Salem, our city recreation office, and the Salem PD here to help us welcome our Falcons back.

Here are our winners of our final Falcon Party of the school year! All year long students have been earning Brag Notes and getting their names on our Falcon 100 Club Board. When our board fills up we draw names and those students get to attend a Falcon Party with Mrs. Stoddard. We have had lots of Falcon Parties this school year because of so many great choices made by all our Falcons. Way to go!
Congratulations to our Falcons of the Month for May. Our last character trait of the year was Diligent. These students were great example of how to work hard, not give up, and truly care about making sure everythig they do is their best!
Foothills students and staff were so excited to come together outside for the first time to have fun in the sun! We had an amazing field day full of games, challenges, water, and popsicles. It was a great day for the ending of the year. Thank you to all the parent volunteers who helped put this on for the students!
Our awesome kindergarten students had a spectacular graduation ceremony this past week. The students put on a great program for their parents and it was a special graduation where we got to celebrate all together. Congraulations Foothills Kindergarten Class of 2021!
