Happenings in Mrs. Hunter's 2nd Grade

Submitted by elyssa.marzan on

William is a student in our class.  His brother, Luke, has cancer.  He and his mom came and talked to our class about cancer.  William passed out bracelets to the class that say, “Love For Luke”.  The whole school will also be receiving these bracelets. Their service dog came to visit too.

Adalynn celebrated her 7th birthday with our class.  She brought her dog for her birthday show-and-tell.  Her grandma from Thailand and her mom also came to our class!

Submitted by elyssa.marzan on

Loveland Planet Aquarium visited 2nd graders and brought along some friends from the Rainforest.  They got to learn about the Madagascar hissing cockroach, a cave roach, a rainbow python, and a crested gecko.  They learned about the habitats that these animals live in, and what part of the world each of them are from.
