One of our Skills Coaches, Mrs. Erickson, recently won the PEAK Award at the June Nebo School Board Meeting. The PEAK Award is a special award that goes to employees who show Positive Energy And Kindness and go above and beyond in their job. Here is what was said about Mrs. Erickson: “As a skills coach, she has built relationships with the students that need behavior support and is always positive and kind with them. The students know she cares and trust her.
Our students came together as a school to celebrate a wonderful year! We handed out lots of awards for Track Meets, Chess Tournament, SOAR awards for May, and a special Mission Possible: Aim for Greatness award. We also recognized Cari Hansen, our wonderful PTO president, our teachers who were leaving, and a special tribute to Mrs. Shipp who is retiring. And the highlight of the assembly was the teacher dance and our 5th grade song!
We had such a great time at Field Day this week! Students enjoyed team building activities, water games, and just being outside playing all together.
Our 3rd graders were able to use their phonics and spelling skills today during the 3rd Grade Spelling Bee. Congratulations to our winners!
4th grade students delighted their parents and families with a good 'ole fashioned Hoedown. Students learned how to square dance and line dance and then performed for their families.
