We celebrated our March Falcons of the Month today. Our character trait focus for the month was Persistent and these awesome students are the standouts for our school in modeling how to not give up and keep trying in everything they do!
Our month of Math Madness has come to an end and we have 3 Multiplication Fact Champions crowned! Congratulations to Ryker Cook, our 3rd grade champion, Boe Wright, our 4th grade champion, and Nathan Wall, our 5th grade champion. These students even beat their teachers in a timed multiplication test! Way to go Falcons!
Covid-19 didn't stop 4th Grade students from doing their County Fair. 4th graders prepared their boards, pictures and reports and held it virtually! What a great way to still involve others' in all the hard work that went into their reports.
4th grade had Loveland Living planet Aquarium come and do a field trip at our school. We learned about Utah biomes and they brought some animals for us to see.
Mrs. Roberts's class tied 10 polar fleece blankets to donate to the Salem Police Department. Officer Greg Smith accepted the blankets and spent some time explaining about his job and now the blankets will be useful to the SPD.
