Foothills Falcons celebrated Red Ribbon Week October 8th -10th by participating in many activities.  On Monday they tied red ribbons outside the school to show the community that Foothills Elementary is a drug free school.  Students also signed a poster pledging to be drug free.  On Tuesday everyone wore red and created posters to hang up in the hall.  Wednesday was “Career Day”.  Students dressed-up like a person they would like to be when they grow up reminding them that when they are drug free they can become anything they want to be.  Students also designed and made flyers to support the theme “I’ve Got Better Things to Do than Drugs.”  The flyers were given to Stokes Grocery Store who shared them with their patrons.
