Ballroom Dance Group Performs for Nebo School Board of Education

Angie Lowe is the ballroom coach at Foothills Elementary. Her objective is to teach far beyond the steps and music. The goal of the program at Foothills is to provide social dance instruction for children in a positive, friendly, and fun atmosphere. This type of instruction builds self-esteem and confidence. Through partnered ballroom dance movement, children learn mutual respect and social skills useful throughout their lives.

One student from every class was given the opportunity to eat lunch with members of the Foothills Student Council. Council members also made hot chocolate to share with their new friends.
