March Math Madness Champions

Our month of Math Madness has come to an end and we have 3 Multiplication Fact Champions crowned! Congratulations to Ryker Cook, our 3rd grade champion, Boe Wright, our 4th grade champion, and Nathan Wall, our 5th grade champion. These students even beat their teachers in a timed multiplication test! Way to go Falcons!

4th Grade County Fair

Covid-19 didn't stop 4th Grade students from doing their County Fair. 4th graders prepared their boards, pictures and reports and held it virtually! What a great way to still involve others' in all the hard work that went into their reports.

3rd Grade Donates Fleece Blankets

Mrs. Roberts's class tied 10 polar fleece blankets to donate to the Salem Police Department. Officer Greg Smith accepted the blankets and spent some time explaining about his job and now the blankets will be useful to the SPD.

Math Madness Championship Finalists

We are down to the final championship in our March Math Madness Competition! 

Here are the final 2 for each grade:

3rd grade- Ryker Cook and MaCaleb Thompson
4th grade- Mallory Brockbank and Boe Wright
5th grade- Nathan Wall and Payton Jones

These students will compete next week to be crowned Math Madness Champion for their grade!

Math Madness at Foothills

We are excited to celebrate March Madness a little different this month with Math Madness! Students in grades 3,4, and 5 are competing against each other in Multiplication facts. We had our Sweet 16 from each grade compete this week and now have the Elite 8 ready to go for next week. These kids are super speedy at their times tables. Way to go Falcons!
