Falcons SOAR Assembly for December

We held our Falcons SOAR Assembly where we recognized teachers, students, and classes that are doing great things at our school for the month of December.

Our Top Claw Award (Employee of the Month) went to Mrs. Dewsnup, Mrs. McGinnis, Ms. Frischknecht, and Ms. Andrew

Our Top Flyer Award was awarded to the classes that were the best in Music Class for the month of December. Congratulations to Mrs. Averett's Class and Mrs. Melander's Class.

And a big congratulations to our Falcons of the Month who were spotlighted for being helpful!

Salem City Library Winter Reading Program

Salem City Library's Winter Reading Program will run from Monday, December 13th to Friday, February 18th

The program is back with more prizes and lots of great incentives to keep you reading through those cold winter days.  Tracking will be through Beanstack so make sure to log on and start recording your minutes.

Santa Visit

It is a festive week here at Foothills!  We were so excited to kick off the week with wearing red and green and being visited by Santa!

Falcons SOAR Assembly for November

We held our Falcons SOAR Assembly where we recognized teachers, students, and classes that are doing great things at our school for the month of November.

Our Top Claw Award (Employee of the Month) went to Mr. Christensen, Mrs. Eddington, Mrs. Roberts, and Miss Roberts.

Our Top Flyer Award was awarded to the classes that were the best in Computer Class for the month of October. Congratulations to Mrs. Jacobsen's class and Mrs. McGinnis' class. 

And a big congratulations to our Falcons of the Month who were spotlighted for being cooperative!

Ms. Andrew Wins Scholarship

Our own Ms. Andrew won a big scholarship from Western Governors University! It was fun for the university to come and surprise her in class so she could celebrate with her students. Ms. Andrew is currently working on her masters to make her an even more amazing teacher. Congratulations Ms. Andrew, we are so proud of you!

PBS KIDS Reading Marathon

The PBS KIDS Reading Marathon is taking place during the month of November. Children (ages preschool - 6th grade) are encouraged to read 20 minutes per day or 600 minutes total throughout the month. From December 1-15 parents will then go on to our PBS website and log their minutes for AMAZING prizes around town during 2022!  

Each Reading Marathon participant will receive a personalized Adventure Pass which will give them the following:

FREE entrance to Hogle Zoo
FREE entrance to Red Butte Garden
FREE entrance to Tracy Aviary
