Team Building in 5th Grade
Mrs. Gurney's class had a team building day! Students worked together to complete different tasks and learn about the importance of good communication and working as a team.
Second Graders Love Writing
Mrs. Hunter's class has been learning about nouns, verbs, and adjectives! They have also been using these skills to write and illustrate complete sentences in their journals! Students write about things that have really happened in their lives.

Special Guest in Mrs. Jacobsen’s Class
Mrs. Jacobsen’s class had a special guest come in and read to the class. The story was Minnows into whales. Thanks Mr. Jones the students loved it.
Community Helpers Visit First Grade
First graders have been learning about community helpers. We had the opportunity to have Deputy Chief Headman come and talk to the first graders about fire safety.
Foothills Elementary Earns Energy Star Award
Foothills Elementary earned the Energy Star award. Our property's ENERGY STAR score of 85 signifies that it is more energy efficient than 85 percent of similar buildings nationwide. On average, ENERGY STAR certified buildings like this one generate 35 percent fewer greenhouse gas emissions than typical buildings.

Julie Wilcox Wins PEAK Award
Congratulations to Julie Wilcox, our ISC Class Technician for winning the District PEAK Award. Julie was nominated by Olivia Chatterton. The PEAK Award is a special award that recognizes Nebo School District Employees who show Positive Energy and Kindness. Mrs. Chatterton said, "Julie goes above and beyond to serve the students she works with. She is always positive and kind. She is a joy to be around! Julie is an excellent choice for the Nebo PEAK (Positive Energy and Kindness Award).”
