Students at Foothills Elementary are participating in a footrace fundraiser. Each student will be participating in a half marathon challenge. The students will be running/walking the half marathon during school hours. Students are encouraged to run/walk everyday under the supervision of their teacher to reach their goal of 13 miles by Saturday, October 25th. Sponsors are asked to pledge a minimum of $5.00. All proceeds will help fund needed equipment and supplies for the school. Foothills launched their fundraiser by having every student in the school run/walk a half mile together. What a great way to stay fit...Go Falcons!
