Just Jumpin'

Students enjoyed watcing the Just Jumpin' Rope Team while they performed different routines. The team encouraged students to "be active." Several students, faculty members, and even our own Mrs. Huntsman performed their jump rope routine for the school!

Mrs. Kate Elliott

Mrs. Elliott’s sixth-grade class has been studying Ancient Egypt. They learned about the process of mummification and the fixation the Egyptians had with the afterlife.  Students learned that most Egyptians spent their entire life preparing for their death. In conjunction with their studies, students created their own book of the dead, mummy, ornately designed sarcophagus and they learned to “Walk like an Egyptian.”
