Last Wednesday, October 14th, 2009, Foothills Elementary kindergartners enjoyed a Fall Festival at school. Students rotated to different stations and participated in various activities relating to fall. One rotation, in particular, called the Fall Drama/Dance allowed students to show in a creative way what they liked to do in the leaves.  Using pretend leaves, they also acted out different scenarios and discussed what scatters leaves--wind.  Pretending to be the wind, students scattered the leaves using wind sticks.  They moved them fast slow, high, and low.  Kindergartners had a tremenddous time learning about fall.
